Hi, I'm Louise
My Story
My love for design started when I was young, I left school and continued my education graduating in 2009 with a BA in Design. My focus was on sustainable design and spacial planning, studying how people use and interact with spaces / products around them. As the digital world evolved my interest for interaction design developed with a focus on user experience design and by 2010 I was working on websites.
From 2015 - 2021 I lived in New Zealand where I had a freelancing business offering website design, management and digital marketing services for a diverse range of businesses. I designed over a dozen websites in New Zealand from E-commerce to charity websites and everything in between, each client with their own vision of what they wanted to achieve. I worked closely with each client to achieve their goal and design a product to meet their needs.
I returned to UK in 2021 and continued my overseas work, focusing my attention on developing my UX design skills. Having all the skills required as a designer I wanted to refresh my knowledge on the UX process to help progress my career. I achieved a professional diploma in UX design from the UX Design Institute, accredited by Glasgow Caledonian University. I continued developing my UX skills at Cegedim Healthcare Solutions where I designed cloud based software for the medical industry.
Now I am in Brisbane and looking for my next UX adventure. As a UX designer I am continually developing my creative skills and love to create user-friendly, intuitive and enjoyable digital products. I am looking to take the next step in my career and join a great company where I can develop further and become part of an awesome team.
